The Legend of Vox Machina Season 2 Episodes 1-3

I didn’t really know what I was going to be getting into with season two of The Legend of Vox Machina because I’m not all that well versed in Critical Role. I know some of the basics but I don’t really know all that much, especially when it comes to Vox Machina. I didn’t know much about the Chroma Conclave, except they were chromatic dragons and had a fantastic name.

The first three episodes have the group dealing with the fallout of the Conclave’s attack and destruction of Emon. That’s basically the entire first episode and the next two episodes are them trying to be more proactive, trying to rally support to take on the dragons. They’re told of the Vestiges of Divergence and how they will need them to be able to take on the Chroma Conclave. The third episode is about the twins and the hunt for the first Vestige called the Deathwalker’s Ward. The episode ends with tragedy, which I won’t giveaway the emotional gut punch.

The first three episodes of The Legend of Vox Machina keep up the same quality from the first season. I don’t know if this season will have the same amount of episodes as the first or if there will be more, but I look forward to the rest of the season. Amazon Prime continues their quality animation. I give the first three episodes of The Legend of Vox Machina season two 9 brooms out of 10. [kofi]
