Something is Killing the Children #21

I didn’t know if there would be any more Something is Killing the Children when I finished the last trade paperback. After looking around the internet for any news I learned that it was going to be coming back after a break. Not only was I overjoyed by that, but I also knew that I was going to be trying to keep up with it through single issues now. Which is something that I haven’t done with a series, ever.

The creative team of James Tynion IV, Werther Dell’edera, and Miquel Muerto is back working on this book. The fact that this book has had a consistent team working on the title throughout is one of the reasons that it remains so good. The new storyline is looking to be something more sinister than the previous one. It’s brought to life through the combination of art and color of Dell’edera and Muerto. The use of color for the new central kid helps distinguish her from other characters.

Something is Killing the Children #21 is getting the new story arc started with a bang. I don’t know how long the wait between issues will be, but I will gladly wait. Boom! Studios continues to have one of the best horror comics that I’ve ever read. I recommend you get this comic, and all of the rest of the series, either at your local comic book shop or however you get your comics. I give Something is Killing the Children #21 8 House of Slaughter masks out of 10.
