The finale of The Book of Boba Fett was really good. I wasn’t completely sure what was going to happen, but I knew that it was going to be an incredibly eventful episode. Everything that had been set up throughout the season was wrapped up. It still hasn’t been announced whether there would be another season, but I feel like there’s enough stuff left that it could either be a new season or even a whole different series following both Boba and Fennec.
This is the most action-packed episode of the season. It had the feel of a western, which makes sense with it having been directed by Robert Rodriguez. I don’t want to mention what one of my favorite parts is specifically. Though that being said if you know me in real life I’m fairly certain you’ll know what I’m talking about. I also like how it sets up several things especially the next season of The Mandalorian. The mid-credits scene is interesting, and I hope that it plays into what Favreau and Filoni do next.
I loved how the special effects were used in this episode. The use of both CG and practical effects used not only throughout the episode but also the series as a whole is outstanding. This is the perfect marriage between the original and prequel trilogies. The music that was made for this episode is cool. The part that I previously didn’t want to spoil had music that I felt was a nod to something, that made me love it even more.
The Book of Boba Fett episode 7 – In The Name of Honor is a great way to finish the season. There are so many characters that were introduced or at least introduced to a larger audience in this series. I do wish that Cad Bane had been used more, just because he has such a cool look and menacing presence. Whatever the team ends up doing next will almost certainly be fantastic. I give The Book of Boba Fett episode 7 as well as a series 9 beskar chain mail tunics out of 10.
