Outcast volume 2 is issues 7-12 of the comic collected. Paul Azaceta’s art is fantastic in this volume. The quality of his artwork is only amplified by the colors from Elizabeth Breitweiser’s colors. Together they bring the emotions in Robert Kirkman’s script out and it will pull at your heartstrings hard. It begins with a powerful sequence and there’s another sequence that will make tears well up in your eyes if you’re like me. They do all of this while deepening the mystery of what an Outcast is and what is and has been happening to Kyle Barnes his whole life.
Outcast volume 2 only deepens the story from the previous volume. I don’t know how long it will take me to get the rest of the collected issues of Outcast but as soon as I can I will be reading them. This is still a top tier horror comic that I feel like hasn’t gotten the love that it really deserves. I give Outcast Volume 2 8 demonic ravens out of 10.
